On November 20th between 1pm-4pm, come to the Tailwaggers Thrift Shop in Friendly Henderson Center with your special pet, and have your picture taken with Santa! Suggested donation of $5. Dog biscuits, candy canes and hot apple cider will be provided. All proceeds support spay/neuter, adoption and education programs of the Sequoia Humane Society.
Tailwaggers Thrift Shop is a small, boutique-style thrift store offering quality used merchandise at affordable prices. We specialize in antiques and collectibles, but also carry high-end jewelry, stylish clothing in good condition, household items (including full sets of dishware and glasses), a wide variety of books & furniture, as well as arts & crafts supplies.
Best of all, 100% of Tailwaggers' profits go to support the adoption, spay/neuter and education programs of the Sequoia Humane Society. So when you buy a special treasure at Tailwaggers you're also helping us help the animals!

Please visit Tailwaggers Thrift Shop in friendly Henderson Center, on the corner of F & Grotto next to the post office and across from Fin-N-Feather Pet Shop. Come by during your lunch hour or while you're out running errands, and in the summer don't forget the Henderson Center Farmer's Market every Thursday.
 The Sequoia Humane Society is pleased to have Elly Burger as manager of Tailwaggers Thrift Shop in Henderson Center. Elly has many years retail management experience, having owned a children's store and worked as assistant manager of a women's clothing store in the mall. Many customers recognize Elly's cheerful face from Suddenlink Communications (formerly Cox Cable), where she served customers with her characteristic smile and upbeat personality.
Elly grew up around many different types of pets such as dogs, cats and horses. Her animals have been an important part of her life. She has always supported the work performed by the Sequoia Humane Society and various animal shelters.
"Being manager of Tailwaggers gives me the opportunity to feel I am doing something worthwhile for all the special pets at the Sequoia Humane Society," says Elly.
"It is my way of thanking my animals for all the joy, happiness and companionship that they have brought me throughout my life. Also, I enjoy merchandising Tailwaggers with quality used items brought in by the public and selling them at fantastic prices. It is a pleasure meeting with both the donors and the customers."
YOU CAN HELP! Donations of quality used items in good condition and working order are always welcome. Become a volunteer and help the animals in a different way. Volunteering can be fun and rewarding - stop by and talk to Elly to get started.
