Here at the Sequoia Humane Society we recognize the pain and loss one feels at the passing of a beloved pet. Each of the animals we take into our lives gives us so much love and joy. In return, we care for them during their lifetime, and when they are no longer with us their memories should be treasured. One way we can do this is by creating a memorial that honors them, while helping other pets in need.
Many pet owners care for their animal companions deeply, but cannot afford costly veterinary bills, even in a life threatening emergency. The Sequoia Humane Society’s Pet Emergency Treatment Fund helps low-income pet owners by giving $100 toward the cost of medical care for their cat or dog in situations where lack of care could mean the difference between life and death. Your donation could help us save a life.
Many of us have lost one or more beloved pets. This is our chance to memorialize them and to help other "special needs" animals.
