How You Can Help
 For over 30 years the Sequoia Humane Society has been working toward a time when all companion animals will have love, good care and families to call their own. The Sequoia Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and receives no government or national Humane Society funding. Every dollar you give to the Sequoia Humane Society helps provide food, shelter, medical treatment, and much needed loving care to a homeless animal-365 days a year.

 Make a Donation
Make a general donation by check, credit card or online with PayPal to our feline and canine friends in need to be disbursed by the Sequoia Humane Society where it is needed the most.

Call Sequoia Humane Society at (707) 442-1782 12-5pm Tuesday through Saturday to make credit card donation or download the donation form and mail to the address above.
 Become a Member
Become a member of the Sequoia Humane Society. With your donation of $25 or more, you will be helping homeless animals in Humboldt County find loving forever homes, AND receive the special benefits of membership! Benefits include:
· 10% discount at the Tailwaggers Thrift Shop in friendly Henderson Center
· 10% discount at the Pet Store located at our Pet Adoption Center
· Discount tickets to the Sequoia Humane Society’s Gala Event the Humane Gourmet and the summer fun Woofstock, featuring MAJOR headline entertainers, food, drink, pet related vendors, and Much Much More! It’s a Doggone Great Day!
· A subscription to Animal Tracks, our quarterly newsletter with informative stories about your pet’s health, animal welfare in Humboldt County and beyond, and heartwarming tales from the shelter so you can see exactly how your support truly helps the animals.

 Join PetPals – Monthly Giving Club
 One of the best ways to help is to pledge a minimum monthly donation of $5 or a minimum quarterly donation of $15. As a Pet Pals member, your important contribution will be used where it is needed the most--buying food and vaccinations, helping to spay or neuter animals in our charge and pets living in low-income households throughout the county. . . Pet Pal members receive all the benefits of regular membership.

What a better way to honor or memorialize a beloved pet or family member that to make a gift in their name to help save the life of a homeless animal? When you make a donation to the Sequoia Humane Society on behalf of a cat, dog, horse, guinea pig, friend, parent, sister, brother, or other 2 or 4-legged creature, you'll receive a special card recoginzing your gift. Great for wedding and birthday gifts, congratulations for achievements, new baby or pet and sympathy for loss. The Sequoia Humane Society will also send a card acknowledging your thoughtful donation to the person of your choice.

Every dollar you give to the Sequoia Humane Society helps provide food, shelter, medical treatment, and much needed loving care to a homeless animal-365 days a year. We're working hard to bring about a day when all animals in Humboldt County are treated humanely, all pets live in responsible, caring homes, and euthanasia is no longer a means of population control. Your gift today makes a difference in so many ways…
$30 microchips a shelter cat or dog, ensuring that they can be re-united with their adopter
$50 vaccinates a shelter cat or dog, protecting them from many common illnesses
$70 spays or neuters a shelter cat or dog, preventing the birth of countless unwanted kittens and puppies
$100 provides formula to help hand-raise an orphaned litter of kittens or puppies
$250 helps provide care, and find an adoptive home, for a homeless cat or dog
And that's not all. With your help we're assisting low-income pet owners with emergency veterinary treatment, training shelter dogs to become "Canine Good Citizens", and visiting classrooms to teach children about responsible pet ownership and the importance of spay/neuter to reduce the number of animals coming into our shelters each year. But there's still so much to do to reach our goal of no more homeless pets. Your generosity today can make the difference between life and death for a homeless animal.
