Every dollar you give to the Sequoia Humane Society helps provide food, shelter, medical treatment, and much needed loving care to a homeless animal-365 days a year. We're working hard to bring about a day when all animals in Humboldt County are treated humanely, all pets live in responsible, caring homes, and euthanasia is no longer a means of population control. Your gift today makes a difference in so many ways?
$40 - Microchips a shelter cat or dog, ensuring that they can be re-united with their adopter $50 - Medical care for an animal for one month, because making sure they're healthy as well as happy is important $80 - Spays or neuters a shelter cat or dog, preventing the birth of countless unwanted kittens and puppies $85 - Vaccinates a shelter cat or dog, protecting them from many common illnesses $120 - Formula to help hand-raise an orphaned litter of kittens or puppies $250 - Provide care, and find an adoptive home, for a homeless cat or dog And that's not all. With your help we're assisting low-income pet owners with emergency veterinary treatment, training shelter dogs to become "Canine Good Citizens", and visiting classrooms to teach children about responsible pet ownership and the importance of spay/neuter to reduce the number of animals coming into our shelters each year. But there's still so much to do to reach our goal of no more homeless pets. Your generosity today can make the difference between life and death for a homeless animal. Donate Your Vehicle to Help Homeless Animals in Humboldt County. Donating a used vehicle (car, motocycle, boat, RV) can mean a lot to our animals. This no cost, no hassle process begins when you contact our fundraising partner Cars 4 Causes. Not all of the vehicles donated to Cars 4 Causes are cost-effective to repair to the level of meeting smog requirements. To date,Cars 4 Causes has recycled an estimated 20,000 of these high-smog producers through their Clean Air Program. Removing these vehicles from the road not only reduces toxic pollutants from the air our animals and human friends breathe, but also provides much needed funds to the Sequoia Humane Society (the charity choosen by you, the donor).
