The new Microchip rate is $40, with 50% off every Tuesday at Sequoia Humane Society Pets can run away or get lost. The Sequoia Humane Society wants to help you keep your pets safe. In addition to a collar with identification tags, microchipping your pet will ensure that they are returned to you.
All pets adopted from the Sequoia Humane Society are implanted with a microchip from 24-Pet Watch. We can also microchip your pet -- just stop by our Pet Adoption Center any day we are open (Tuesday-Saturday from 12-5pm) -- no appointment is necessary. The cost is only $40 -- and every Tuesday you'll get 50% off the regular price! **It is important that you keep your pet's microchip contact information up to date. A microchip is a very small, pre-programmed computer chip with a unique identification number that is implanted just under your pet's skin between the shoulder blades. It can be read by a microchip scanner at most veterinary hospitals and animal shelters. Hospital or shelter staff then contact the microchip company that the chip is registered with to get the pet owner's contact information.
