JoJo to the Rescue!
YES! JoJo is a two and a half year old black lab cross that has been with SHS since April, 2005. He was rescued from Mexico, where he'd been chained up the first few months of his life with little food or water, and no human contact. JoJo is a big boy and, while he has learned manners and many basic commands, he can be difficult to control because of his large size. Hence, he has not yet found his forever home. Fortunately, Dakota has remained stable and has not needed a 2nd blood transfusion. However, JoJo is ready to lend a paw to his fellow canine, should the need arise. "I just want my life to have some meaning," says JoJo.
