Dear Cynthia,
We went to the Woofstock last Sunday. We came to see Leon Russell. From the moment we got there until two days later when we got an insurance premium we couldn’t get the grins off our faces. It was a hot diggity dog day afternoon, all right. We had so much fun!! We brought our dog, who took a few minutes to adjust to the shock of seeing so many dogs in one place. Eventually he got into the swing of it. He saw a couple of dogs he knows even.
That was about the neatest thing we ever heard of. First the imagination. Then the consideration for the dogs fun. Then the fact that you actually raised money. Then the beautiful day. Then the free Leon Russell show.
We didn’t see a single rude dog. Even the people were well behaved. No dogs ran loose. We enjoyed the concessions, especially the beef dog jerky makers and Its All About the Dogs. We had so much fun. We never saw two dogs alike. We couldn’t believe the incredible variety.
Thank you for such a wonderful event. It cheered us up. We really admire your community spirit and good will for everybody.
